Plot
Based in Jaipur, the film’s story revolves around a passionate cricketer Mahendra Aggarwal who dreams of representing the Indian cricket team but finds his dream unfulfilled due to family pressure and repeated rejections.
Mahendra works on his family’s sports goods shop but his life changes when he meets Mahima Sharma, a doctor with hidden passion for cricket.

Characters
Rajkumar Rao has played the character of Mahendra, a strong-willed man, brilliantly. This film connects the audience with the story of Mahendra’s struggle. Jhanvi Kapoor’s character Mahima is also very attractive.
Her dedication towards her role is visible in her flawless cricket skills. Her pairing with Rajkumar Rao is quite attractive. Their chemistry sparkles on the screen. The emotional ups and downs in their relationship keep the audience engaged throughout the film.
Kumud Mishra and Zarina Wahab have played the role of Mahendra’s parents very well. Their performances as supporting cast in the film is commendable.
However, the role played by Rajesh Sharma as Mahendra’s coach could have been stronger. Although his performance is solid, his role lacks the depth to completely engage the audience.

The story of the film is quite inspiring. Mr. and Mrs. Mahi set out in search of fulfilling their dreams while respecting each other’s feelings. This film tells the value of self-discovery and realization that real happiness comes from within and not from external validation.
