Plot

“Bramayugam” is the story of ancient traditions and the harsh forces that shape human destiny. The protagonist of the story is Thevan, portrayed by Mammootty. Thevan is a folk singer who belongs to the Paanan caste. His life takes an unpredicted turn amidst slavery and exploitation.

Thevan sets out on a dangerous journey after releasing himself from the chains of slavery. This journey leads him to a terrible encounter. This encounter changes his existence. He goes into the mysterious depths of ancient traditions where long buried secrets come to light that challenge his true understanding.

Release Date

The film “Bramayugam” had to go through meticulous censorship formalities before its release. As a result of which U/A certificate was issued to the film on January 30, 2024. The U/A certificate ensures that the film follows the set guidelines which allows audiences of all ages in the cinema halls. 

“Bramayugam” is set to premiere in theaters on February 15, 2024. The film is ready to release in five different languages to jot down a new chapter in the history of cinema. It invites audiences from different backgrounds to dive themselves in the horror thriller story.
